This item comes from the collection of former Wizards of the Cost Manager Julian Snape, Julian was a figurehead at the UK branch of Wizards, an avid Magic collector and personal friend to many of the early artists of the game, including Christopher Rush. Artist proofs have a blank back with standard card fronts. The cards allow artists to see what the card will look like once printed. The rarity of the card cannot be understated, as the number of copies known to exist in the community is incredibly small. And for any copy to come up for public auction is an equally rare event! The artwork was done by Christopher Rush. This is truly a piece if Magic the Gathering history.
